Betty Paige, Babylon, Burlesque

With all my university projects handed in I've finally got time to catch up with all my favourite fashion publications on and offline. The one below, entitiled 'Hackney Road Babylon' made me choke on my cuppa, it ties in perfectly with all the burlesque and pin up styles I've been looking at for my university project! The combination of beautiful garments, edgy, unique looking models and a gritty, urban environment is what always makes the Vice photo shoots so interesting, I particularly like this one because it reminds me of Betty Paige!

Speaking of Betty Paige, if you you have never seen 'the Notorious Betty Paige' then you should be ashamed of yourself!

All aboard the night train

I won't be getting the nightbus home this weekend because I have all the deadlines in the world. Theres nothing more strange (or stupid) than meeting people on the nightbus! Watch this teenage witch style video Vice sent me.

Alice Dellal

I love Alice Dellal so much, to me she's so beautiful and the fact she comes across as a massive freak makes me love her even more. She was also one of the first girls to rock an undercut (before they got trendy not like, ever) and she has such an unusual face, she looks rough as hell but still looks cracking. So now I've finished worshipping, when I got my email from Vice this morning with a video of Alice in I did a little skip and a jump and a hop and the video is so good that I'm going to show it to all of you, YES I AM! Aren't I good to you?

The creators project

I've always really liked Mark Ronson, ever since he dated Daisy Lowe, they were a better version of Jamie Cullam and Sophie Dahl. He alse has some fabulous shoes and hats. More importantly (I suppose) is his music, heres an interview he did for the creators project in which he talks about his experience working with Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse (whats happened to her anyway?), his new album and hip hop
