LFW: Day one

Yeaaah so I'm a little late on writing up on London Fashion Week you know since we're on day 5 now but hey. So far i'm not that impressed to be honest, yeah there's some really nice stuff but I feel as though Mqueens death really has taken its toll on LFW, the drama and excitement isn't what it usually is. I don't know if they'll even manage to do one next year.

WOW RAMBLER. ANYWAY so day one ay!

Sass & Bide

"Perfectly placed chaos.”

Loads of fantastic prints, pinstripes and beautiful lace, personally I think you can never go wrong with lace it always looks elegant. The cut out shapes work really well, revealing skin in a way which is subtle rather than slut. The whole collection is pretty much in black and white with the odd dirty gold detail. Really grown up stuff.

This is my favourite look from the whole collection:

 Paul Costelloe

The Assasination of Jesses James, black and lace.”

Costelloe's collection was as per, impressive. Classic tailored pieces with a difference in a range of luxurious fabrics from dusky golds and gun metally silvers to sheer navy. I like the way Costelloe designs his garments because you get the impression he really cares how women want to look and feel in his clothes and his pieces are generally speaking, timeless.
