Don't feel like blogging today really. Going to go and make some vintage little snails instead.

I just want to be okay
This last couple of weeks have been really strange. I feel like I've never cried so hard or laughed so much. I've found friends in people I never expected to and bought some amazing shoes. I feel like I'm finding myself again and at the same time I feel lost in myself. I feel really alive.
And now VERY exposed.
But I think sometimes you need that.
Paper Fashion
There's a girl and her name is Kathryn Elyse Rodgers, she draws lots and lots and she's good at it. She also keeps a beautiful blog, which you can see here.
Here's a little peep at her work;
See, I told you she was good.

Diesel - BE STUPID campaign
Love it or hate it any self respecting hipster fashionista will recognise the Diesel BE STUPID campaign from a mile off. Personally I really love it! I think it's such a fun, clever idea.
The idea is based around that one sentence that makes your passion seem ridiculous and can crush your hopes and dreams, moreso if it comes from your mother. 'Don't be stupid'.
The idea is basically to stop thinking so much and just do it, whatever 'it' may be. It's the thought that trying to think smart limits your thinking because it caps your imagination. Watch it, embrace it, do it.
BE STUPID.

Things I love Thursday
I've done a lot of moving and shifting and stuff this last two weeks which mean's I've not spent anytime with my special little guy. So this week I am dedicating my 'Things I Love' to my teeny little hamster. His name is Arnold. He likes banana, corn and carrot. He dislikes cats, vacuum cleaners and the smell of anti-bacterial. His hobbies include but are not limited to finding multifunctions for objects in his cage, hiding in a comfy corner and making dens.

I love grunge
I know that grunge is such a typical thing to blog about at the moment and it's a style that has been stretched out to within an inch of its life. From studs and leather to beaten up denim to holey tights and tough old boots I can guarantee you will find one of these factors in every five looks on lookbook.
For me, grunge has always been something I've fallen back on. Everytime I have nothing to wear or I feel a bit crappy or a little unsure of myself I'll climb into a tatty babydoll or a floral dress with some horribly old tights and some tatty trainers or boots.
Theres something about skulls, crosses, big black jewels and dirty thick old chains teamed with sheer black, lace, old britannia, velvet, greying black cotton, deep crimsons, dirty emerald greens and morbid ditzy florals that make me feel really warm and at home. I feel more comfortable like this than I do in anything else. Recently I've found myself slipping back into this comfortable little world.
Alexander Wang
This video gives me that heart ache that you get when you know you've found something really special and magical.

Happy 100th post!
My dashboard says this is my 100th post, in which case, well done me!
The other day I actually got some batteries for the compact camera my boyfriend kindly traded in all his games so I could get. I didn't take many but here are the ones I did take.
I took pictures of the fabric I got cause I think it's real pretty. I used the bird one to make a laptop case.
I took a picture of my mini University kit so far, which basically consists of some knifes, some boxes, a rug, an oven glove and a ...mouse mat?
I tried to take a picture of myself but then I felt silly and I realised my outfit wasn't my most fabulous so I stopped.
I took a picture of a screen print I did all by myself at college.
I took a picture of a doodle I did for a project on grunge.
The last thing I took a picture of was this little door and then I sat and wondered where it led to.
I think I'll post lots more pictures soon.

the want is baaaack!
I've not wanted much for a while, slowly the want monster in me is creeping back up and taking over me, better hide my debit card! Today's want monster needs feeding:
These beautiful Alexander Mcqueen shoes....
...And this divine Alexander Wang bag.
The want keeps telling me that if I buy the things he's hungry for then everyone will respect me... I'm starting to believe him.

Barbara I Gongini
I'm a little embarrassed to say I only recently discovered Barbara I Gongini but since doing so I've been an avid follower of her work. The Danish designer creates clothes that have a tasty raw and edgy feel and a relatively unisex look. Working with shapes such as circles and squares to create shapes that although unusual feel completely natural. I love how many feelings you can pick up from just one of her outfits, on one hand her garments have a really grungy feel, at the same time they feel so pure and in my experience ALWAYS eerie.
If I were to sum up her new collection in a few words it would be 'urban cool swamp monster'
Look at those shoes! FAB-U-LOUS!
You really have to watch this video of her spring summer collection too, It just gives off that completely eerie feel I always get from her.
